All town buses stop at Piazza della Stazione (Train Station). Conference site is
reached by bus 11, 36 e 37 from Santa Maria Novella railway station to Piazza della Calza.
In addition, a large number of bus services connect Florence to its surroundings (Fiesole, n. 7 , Settignano, n.10).
The terminuses of the regional lines (Cap, Lazzi, Sita) connect Florence to the other wonders of Tuscany, all worth a visit: Siena, San Gimignano, Pienza, Arezzo, Volterra, Forte dei Marmi, etc.)

The airport is connected to the town centre by a special connection service from/to Amerigo Vespucci Airport and Santa Maria Novella train station, jointly run by ATAF and SITA, Vola in bus.
This is a real fast shuttle (approximately 25 minutes) connecting the airport (arrival side) to the centre of Florence (SITA bus station); it stops only at the train station and runs every thirty minutes for most of the day.

1st Step: The Conference Venue can be reached by car following Motorway A1 from Bologna or, on the opposite side, from Roma till the exit of Firenze Certosa. |

2nd step: follow "Via Senese" until you reach "Piazzale della Porta Romana" The Conference Venue is in "Piazza della Calza", just across an ancient arch. |

We encourage you to reach the Converence Venue by walk. In any case, if you plan to arrive by car, a limited number of parking lots are available around the Conference Venue.

MIXED PARKING
Free during the night and holidays, from 8:00 AM till 8:00 PM has a fix rate of 1 Euro per hour in ZCS (controlled parking zone) nearby the historical centre ( ZCS 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8) and 0,50 Euro per hour in ZCS 9 and 11.
In ZCS 6 and 7 (with intense traffic also during the night ) from 8:00 PM till 8:00 AM the fee is 0,50 Euro per hour, Sundays and holidays free.
As a tourist, you can buy at your hotel a special parking daily ticket called "hotel tourist parking". With this ticket you can park 24h in the "mixed parking" spaces at the special price of € 8,00. |

ROTATION PARKING
Free during the night and holidays (except zone ZCS 6 and 7), with fee from 8:00 AM till 8:00 PM nearby historical centre zone and next to the ring roads with very intense traffic during busy hours.
Easy parking, "rotation parking": less time=more space to park!
Rotation is obtained with incremental fee: 1,00 Euro first hour, 2,00 Euro from the second hour. |
